What this is about

A space built for the community

Community at its heart

Les Creux is a community-focused project: an accessible, affordable space for groups, clubs, events and everyday use, designed around what the west of the island actually needs.

For children & young people

It has a particular focus on children and young people, including a registered full-day nursery, though the space is for everyone in the community, not exclusively the young.

Ready to deliver

This is led by someone who has already delivered exactly this kind of work, and has the experience, track record and skills to make Les Creux a reality.

The starting point

The original EOI document

This proposal was written in direct response to the requirements of Jersey Property Holdings in their original advertisement. This included all applicants needing to demonstrate sports use, community benefit, economic viability, sustainability and recognition of Les Creux’s history, including acknowledging the Rotary Club de la Manche and the Scouts Association.

Please note: this proposal only outlines use of the former bowls pavilion and not the wider park, as per the tender documents.
